Cotes De Rohne 2013
Red Blend
The aroma of this wine has a distinct blackberry aroma with hints of vanilla. This wine is fresh and fruit forward being a 2013 vintage. It has a nice balance of tannins and fruit flavors; however some may find it a little too tannic for their palates. It does have a slightly peppery finish which is characteristic of the two main wines in the blend, Grenache Noir and Syrah. ($10.00)
Denner The Dirt Worshipper
Vioginer
This wine has a drop dead gorgeous bouquet of black raspberry, game, violets, and ground pepper that flows to a medium to full-bodied, focused, and structured palate. There's a decidedly northern Rhône like quality here, and the wine has riveting focus and precision on both the nose and palate. Picking up a saline like minerality, as well as building tannin, on the finish. ($65.00)
